Region 1-Preschool English Learner Guide Training

This full day training will introduce the resource guide, “Preschool English Learners: Principles and Practices to Promote Language, Literacy, and Learning.”  Participants will leave with strategies for educating young English learners and the research that informed those strategies.  In depth discussions about code switching, stages of second language acquisition and supporting dual language learners with IEPS will be included.  Each participant will receive a copy of the PEL Guide, lunch is included.
