The California Preschool Instructional Network (CPIN), funded by the California Department of Social Services, has been a trusted resource for family childcare providers and preschool educators across California since 2004. CPIN delivers high-quality professional learning, technical assistance, and valuable resources to support early childhood education statewide.
CPIN supports educators through regional communities of practice (CP) and professional learning sessions focusing on promising practices in early learning, family engagement, and ensuring that we meet the needs of California's children and families. It promotes a whole-child approach to education.
Across 11 regions in California, CPIN instructors deliver research-based teaching strategies that are age-appropriate, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate for all children. Professional learning sessions are hands-on and interactive, thoughtfully designed to engage and support adult learners.
