In this interactive session, participants will:

• Read and discuss the knowledge, behaviors, and skills in Vocabulary strand from the California Preschool Learning

Foundations, Volume 1.

• Discuss the connections between the foundations in the English-Language Development domain and the foundations in the

Vocabulary strand.

• Use strategies from the California Preschool Curriculum Framework, Volume 1 to practice, plan, and apply various

interactions, strategies, and environment opportunities to support the Vocabulary strand.
