The visual and performing arts offer young children many ways to experience exploration, self-expression, creativity, and the joy of learning. This professional learning session is specifically designed for TK teachers and highlights the Drama Strand. Participants will be able to explore CDE resources, including the Preschool Learning Foundations and the Preschool Curriculum Framework to enhance developmentally, culturally, and linguistically appropriate instruction. Participants will engage in a variety of activities and strategies to support young children’s ability to create, invent and express.
