• Read and discuss the knowledge, behaviors, and skills in the Alphabetic Word/Print Recognition strand from the California Preschool Learning Foundations, Volume 1.

• Discuss the connections between the foundations in the English-Language Development domain and the foundations in the Alphabetic Word/Print Recognition strand.

• Read and use strategies from the California Preschool Curriculum Framework, Volume 1 to plan learning experiences to support the Alphabetic Word/Print Recognition strand
