This professional learning session focuses on Language and Literacy Development (LLD) within the Preschool/Transitional Kindergarten Learning Foundations (PTKLF). Participants will explore research-based strategies to support children’s language development, communication, listening, speaking, early literacy, and emerging reading and writing skills. Through interactive activities and practical examples, educators will learn how to create language-rich learning environments, integrate literacy into everyday routines and play, and support the diverse language and literacy needs of all young children.
