Region 8 - Building Resiliency Through Play

Open to Region 8 - Kern, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara and Ventura Counties. 

Two day training: Day 1 - 4/12/23 and Day 2 - 4/13/23 both days from 6:00 to 7:30 pm

Training Outcomes:

• Discuss the impact of trauma on children’s play.
• Distinguish between different types of play that support children impacted by stress and trauma to help them cope, build
resilience, and heal.
• Discuss strategies for addressing difficult themes in play.
