Region 8: Social-Emotional Development in the TK Classroom - Relationships

Relationships shape your children’s learning.  From infancy parent-child and family relationships guide and motivate children’s love for discovery and learning and provide a secure foundation for the growth of exploration and self-confidence.  In the classroom, special adults and friends make school an inviting place for children.

In this session TK teachers gain an understanding of the developmental progression of the Relationship Strand and discover research-based strategies to incorporate into existing programs.
