Objetivos:
Explorar la investigación sobre el juego a través de varias lecturas y artículos.
Experimentar los beneficios y desmentir los mitos comunes sobre el juego y el aprendizaje.
Considerar las oportunidades de planificación para la individualización y el apoyo dentro del ciclo de planificación reflexiva.

Los participantes deben estar presentes en la sesión de capacitación durante un mínimo de 105 minutos para recibir crédito.

CPIN: The Powerful Role of Play in Education
Play is more than fun—it is a vital tool for learning. Through play, children explore ideas, develop problem-solving skills, strengthen social-emotional abilities, and build a foundation for academic success. Play-based learning nurtures curiosity, creativity, and confidence, preparing children to thrive in school and in life.
Learning Objectives:
Discuss the purpose of the publication, The Powerful Role of Play in Education, through reading and discussion.
Explore the research-based connections between play, learning; including the impact of trauma on play, through group activities and readings.
Discuss the benefits of play and learning.
Engage in strategies that address different types of play that support children impacted by stress and trauma to cope, build resilience and healing.
* Participants are required to be present in the training session for a minimum of 105 minutes in order to receive credit. The minutes will be verified upon completion of the training using the zoom attendance report. Please ensure that you are signed into the training by name even if you are using a mobile device instead of a laptop.
