Children enjoy creating their own art! The visual arts allows a child ways to experience playful exploration, self-expression, and creativity, all contributing to joyful learning. During the early years, the arts are more about process (participation, engagement, and involvement) than about product; focus is actually on artistic activity. Join as we review a continuum of development, from scribbles to representation and realism. Learning activities will be explored and various media such as crayons, paints, construction paper, and clay will be used for experimentation.
