Regional 3 - Mathematics: Measurement

In this session,

participants will:•Review and promote the research inearly childhood mathematics in theclassroom.•Review the California PreschoolLearning Foundations, CaliforniaPreschool Curriculum Framework, andother CDE resources to supportmathematical learning in the classroom.•Discuss the application of classroompractices and strategies that enhancechildren’s mathematical growth anddevelopment.•Identify strategies to supportdual-language learners developingmathematics.
