Bay Region 4 CPIN with City College of San Francisco and Children's Coucil of San Francisco are pleased to bring "Ready...Set...Go!": Engaging Early Learners in Physical Science. If you are a preschool or transitional teacher or administrator this module is for you! We will explore how children learn about cause and effect, the physical properties of objects and materials, and changes in objects and materials while engaging in project-based activities to take back to the classroom. You will become familiar with the structure and features of the Foundations and Framework, Volume 3 Science Domain's Physical Science Strand. We'll also learn about integration opportunities between Volumes 1,2, and 3 of the Foundations, as well as, authentic research-based strategies that support learning for all children. 

8:00 a.m. Registration, Light Breakfast Treats and Networking

$10.00 fee (Covers breakfast). Fee is non-refundable, however, substitutions are highly encouraged and gladly excepted.

Training counts for 3.5 hours towards Cares Plus Grant Component A
