Social and emotional development is foundational for young children’s overall growth and learning. During the early years, children develop awareness of their own emotions, thoughts, behaviors, abilities, and sense of self. Social-emotional learning is integrated into all aspects of development, making it a central focus for early childhood educators and care providers.
Join us for the PTKLF Social Emotional Development overview, designed for early educators working with children ages three to five-and-a-half. We will review the foundations and discuss what they ‘look like’ in high-quality early childhood learning settings.
