Explore CDE’s publication, Inclusion Works! (2nd ed.): Creating Child Care Programs that Promote Belonging for Children with Special Needs throughout this three-part series.  Engage in thoughtful conversation with peers to learn more about inclusive practice and make plans to best meet every child’s learning needs.

Participants will:

• Explore and become familiar with the Inclusion Works!publication to learn more about inclusive practice and the importance of including children with special needs in high quality early education settings.
• Reflect on teaching strategies that align with Universal Design for Learning, focusing on thoughtful environmental considerations to ensure active engagement for all
• Understand the value of making learning accessible to all children and learn new strategies that support this belonging
