Child Development and Learning: Review the organization of California Preschool/Transitional Kindergarten Learning Foundations PTKLF for children aged three to five and a half in early education programs.
The Attention to Learning (ATL ) domain describes skills and abilities that children develop and demonstrate while engaged in play-based learning approaches and opportunities. While engaging in play-based learning experiences that are socially interactive, meaningful and stem from their own interests, young children will practice collaboration and problem-solving skills with peers and adults, demonstrate curiosity and a desire to learn, plan and make choices that reflect their personal interests and attend to routines and schedules.
