What does the daily schedule, singing, nursery rhymes and organizing classroom storage areas have to do with Algebra?  Everything it seems.  As preschool children engage and experience their preschool environment, they sort, classify objects, make patterns and develop skills that are essential in learning mathematics and science.  This training will focus on how teachers can enhance a child’s ability to make predictions, from generalizations and derive rules.  Strategies to apply algebraic thinking and reasoning throughout the day will be highlighted.
