Region 11 - TK Mathematics: Number Sense

This professional learning session will familiarize TK teachers with the California Preschool Learning Foundations, California Preschool Curriculum Framework and other key early learning resources to review and discuss the developmental continuum of number concepts and number operations.  Participants will learn effective strategies to utilize throughout the day and plan environments to support children with mathematical skills of recognizing numbers, subitizing, counting objects, comparing, adding and subtracting. http://lacoe.k12oms.org/2026-162888
