Region 2- Language and Literacy- Dialogic Reading

This popular and fun CPIN training will focus on:

 Discussing the language & literacy foundations, recognizing the

strategies outlined in the framework that use Dialogic Reading.

 Discovering the research supporting dialogic reading.

 Providing time & opportunity to plan Dialogic Reading methods &

activities, & then receive feedback while co-learning & practicing

with colleagues.

After “Hands On” practice in small groups, every program

represented at the training will receive a new book to take back

and use with children right away. Some attendees will also

receive story extension prop kits as extra individual prizes.
