Region 3 Talking with Parents About Concerns (Virtual)

This training will:

• Provide a framework for caregivers when they have concerns that a child in their care might have a developmental delay, disability, or significant behavior problem.
• Discuss how to share concerns with a child’s parents or family members (anyone raising the child) and understand different ways family members will receive and act on the expressed concern.

This training will cover:

• Child Development and Learning
• Relationships, Interactions, and Guidance
• Family and Community Engagement
• Special Needs and Inclusion

Early learning standards/foundations:

• Toddler Care (19 - 36 Months)
• Preschool (3 - 5 Years)
