Region 4 - History/Social Science Series

Discuss how history-social Science pertains to how people live together in the social world. Describe how becoming a community member means...learning about oneself as a responsible member of the group. Explore and foster a healthy curiosity about the experiences of others.   Discuss how to utilize and apply information from Best Practices for Planning Curriculum for Young Children: Family Partnerships and Culture. Reflect upon and share about personal culture influences in the early childhood setting.

Please note, by enrolling in this training, you are enrolling in all four parts of this series. In order to receive full credit, you must attend all sessions since the series ends in a CoP.
No partial credit will be given if you attend a session or two and drop out.
Enrollment will close one week before the training.

Session 1: Becoming a Community Member, March 4, 2023 9-11 am (sign on at 8:45 am)
Session 2: Self and Society/Marketplace, March 9, 2023 6-8 pm (sign on at 5:45 pm)
Session 3: Family Partnerships and Culture, March 18, 2023 9-11 am (sign on at 8:45 am)
Session 4: Community of Practice, March 23, 2023 6-8 pm (sign on at 5:45 pm)
