The purpose is to: Provide a comprehensive view of the development of children age three to five and a half. Foster connections across domains. Promote intentionality to support children along a developmental continuum. Focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion. Include children in preschool and transitional kindergarten. Emphasize learning experiences to foster joy and a sense of belonging.
Learning Outcomes:
• Review the organization of California Preschool/Transitional Kindergarten Learning Foundations (PTKLF) for children aged three to five and a half in early education programs.
• Explore how PTKLF promotes diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.
• Recognize the PTKLF Guiding Principles.
