"Geometry is the study of space and shape.

Geometry and spatial reasoning offer a way to describe, interpret, and imagine the world” (PCF, Vol. 1, p.164).

Participants will learn how to:

• Read, observe, and discuss the Math Domain: Geometry in the Preschool Learning Foundations/Frameworks, Vol. 1.

• Identify and observe children's developmental continuum and learning trajectories in understanding geometry.

• Apply strategies learned to support geometry in the environment with planned learning opportunities.
