Region 6: Health and Nutrition

December 5, 2017 4:00pm to 7:00pm

Tuolumne County Superintendent of Schools Office, room 217, Sonora

Physical activity and proper health and nutrition, infused throughout the preschool day, promotes children’s ability to attend, be ready to learn, and regulate their emotional responses.  It is essential to the optimal development and overall health of young children.

Discover how to use the Preschool Learning Foundations (PLF), and the Preschool Curriculum Framework (PCF) Vol. 2 to enrich learning and development opportunities in preschool and TK settings. We’ll engage in hands-on activities and learn about research-based strategies that will enhance your early education setting. Participants will be able to make- and-take aides to use right away in their settings.

These are FREE workshops.  You may attend one or both of the workshops in this series.
Please obtain a workforce registry number PRIOR to the workshop. You can register at  www.caregistry.org
Remember to bring the card and/or number to the training.

A light meal will be provided
