Region 6- Spanish PEL Guide Part I

  This training is a 6 hour session designed to benefit staff working to promote the language and literacy development of preschool Dual Language Learners.  Teachers will learn about current research and strategies for educating young English Learners.  It will assist teachers in recognizing the gifts and talents that preschool English Learners bring to their classroom and programs.  Participants will be introduced and given the resource guide, “Preschool English Learners:  Principles and Practices to Promote Language, Literacy and Learning” (in Spanish).

Target Audience:  Preschool & TK Teachers working directly with young children
