In this distance learning interactive series, participants will:
Discuss the purpose of the publication, The Powerful Role of Play in Education, through reading and discussion.
Explore the research-based connections between play, learning; including the impact of trauma on play, through group activities and readings.
Discuss the benefits of play and learning
Engage in strategies that address different types of play that support children impacted by stress and trauma to cope, build resilience and healing.
Be required to do one hour of professional learning independently prior to each two-hour distance learning session.
