In this distance learning interactive series, participants will:
Discuss why physical development isincluded in the CA Preschool LearningFoundations and Curriculum Framework,Volume 2 and view current research andrecommendations on physical developmentresearch.
Identify how preschool teachers, caregivers,and families play a critical role in the physicaldevelopment of California’s preschoolchildren.
Prepare CA preschool educators to overcomeobstacles, and provide learning anddevelopment opportunities (either virtually orin-person) for physical development ofpreschool children.
Be required to do one hour of professionallearning independently prior to the two-hourdistance learning session.

Who: Early educators of children 3-5 years of age
Cost: FREE (All participants must have a workforce registry number to enroll)
Location: All session will be conducted virtually. Distance learning requires participants to have access to internet, email, and a digital device for full participation.
