Region 11 - CPIN Physical Development: Perceptual Motor Skills/Movement In-Person

In this interactive session, participants will:
Discuss how perceptual-motor coordination is the process of
receiving, interpreting, and using information from all the body’s
senses (visual, auditory touch, smell, taste and kinesthetic) to
carry out the physical output (a coordinated movement).

Explain how movement concepts provide cognitive awareness of
movement.

Workforce Registry Information: To receive professional development hours, participants will need to have a Workforce Registry (WFR) 9-digit ID number (100-xxx-xxx). Participants can access the Workforce Registry website to obtain their ID number. If you do not have a WFR account, please visit https://www.caregistry.org/ for instructions on how to create one.
A certificate will not be issued for participating.

Attendance Requirements: Participants must attend the full session in order to receive full credit. You may arrive late or leave early, however credit will not be given for the training if the time requirement is not met.  Attendance is monitored before, during and at the end of the session.

If you have your own copies of the Preschool Learning Foundations and Curriculum Framework, Volume 2 books, feel free to bring them for reference and note-taking.

This being an IN-PERSON training, we ask that you please observe the following:

1) Please refrain from attending if you have any symptoms of illness, had a fever, vomit, or diarrhea in the last 24 hours. 

2) Please wear a high grade mask.

3) Proof of vaccination or testing is not required.
