In this interactive session, participants will:

Read and discuss the knowledge, behaviors, and skills in the vocabulary strand from the California Preschool Learning Foundations, Volume 1.
Discuss the connections between the foundations in the English language development domain and the foundations in the vocabulary strand.
Use strategies from the California Preschool Curriculum Framework, Volume 1 to practice, plan, and apply various interactions, strategies, and environment opportunities to support the vocabulary strand.
