Discuss the purpose of this publication, The Powerful Role of Play in Early Education, through reading and discussion.
Explore the research-based connections between play and learning through group activities and readings.
Experience the benefits and debunk common myths about play and learning.
Consider planning opportunities for individualization and scaffolding within the reflective planning cycle.
Discuss the impact of trauma on children’s play.
Distinguish between different types of play that support children impacted by stress and trauma to help them cope, build resilience, and heal.
Discuss strategies for addressing difficult themes in play.
Identify integration opportunities between Volumes 1, 2, and 3 of the PLF with regard to learning
opportunities and teachable moments in the dramatic arts.
Explore how drama can be used to increase vocabulary with dual language learners.

By enrolling in this training, you are enrolling in all three parts of this series. In order to receive full credit, you must attend all sessions since the series ends in a CoP.
