Group learning always involves social interaction. The skill with which children interact with adults and peers significantly influence how they learn. The development of these skills in the preschool years is a foundation for children's capacity to be socially skilled and competent members as they grow and develop. In this workshop participants will learn strategies to support interactions with familiar adults, interactions with peers, group participation and cooperation and responsibility.
This workshop identifies and explains the structure and features of the CA Preschool Learning Foundations and Curriculum Framework Vol 1, Social-Emotional Development, Social Interaction strand.
